Cross-country trails

When snow conditions are good, we prepare cross-country trails. These are connected to the Gírová artery and a small 600m loop near the “Traveling through Europe” attraction.

Route No. 1 (BLUE – EASY)
BUKOVEC KEMPALAND – HOTEL KEMPA
A cross-country skiing loop approximately 600 m long with no elevation gain, located directly next to the Kempaland ski resort, below Hotel Kempa. Parking is available free of charge in the resort’s parking area. The trail is groomed using a snowmobile.

Route No. 2 (RED – INTERMEDIATE)
UPPER PART OF THE SLOPE – DÍLEK – BUKOVEC SCHOOL
The starting point of the trail is at the top of Kempa, near the upper station of the ski lift, which can be used to get uphill. From there, the route gently descends past the Šance peak, then continues along a local road with a gradual climb around Sušský vrch, through the area called “Zachrašč” to the locality known as “Dílek.” Here the trail turns right and follows a forest road along the hillside to a crossroads, where it continues right with a gentle descent down to the elementary school in Bukovec. Free parking is available at the Kempaland ski resort. The trail is groomed using a snowmobile. The route length is 5.5 km with an elevation gain of 120 m.

Route No. 3 (RED – INTERMEDIATE)
CROSSROADS BUKOVEC SCHOOL – ŘEPÍK – LYSKY
The trail starts at the crossroads above the elementary school in Bukovec, which can be reached by a gradual climb from the school along Route No. 2. From the crossroads, the route continues to the right along a forest road on the hillside, passing the Zarembčok stream to another crossroads. From there, it leads right with a gentle descent through the locality “Řepík” to the area known as “Lysky.” Parking is available at a free parking lot in the village center near the Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary. The trail is groomed using a snowmobile. The route length is 4 km with an elevation gain of 140 m.
